I appreciated the personal touches throughout the property, which added to the inviting atmosphere. However, the bathroom door was just a sliding door, which could be a bit awkward for three guests. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for a quick transit stay!

The nearby dining options were delightful, with great meals at local restaurants. Additionally, the atmosphere was peaceful, allowing for a good night’s sleep before an early flight.

This isn't really a hotel experience. it feels more like a B&B without breakfast, which was a letdown. The bathrooms are pretty small and outdated, making it awkward to store toiletries. Getting there from the bus stop took longer than expected, especially with heavy luggage, which wasn't ideal for families or older guests. Many rooms are upstairs without an elevator, limiting access. The surrounding area doesn't offer much in terms of dining, with only a couple of drab options nearby, and I expected better given the price. Plus, the lack of comfortable bedding made for some awkward sleeping positions.

However, the bathroom could use a bit more attention as it was only cleaned once during my two-night stay. Also, WiFi was inconsistent, making it hard to work from my room. The distance from the main attractions of Keflavik was a little inconvenient for evening outings, but the area felt safe.

I really enjoyed my stay, as it was close to the Reykjanes Art Museum just a short walk away and just minutes from the beach, providing a perfect place to indulge in a scenic walk after a day of exploring, while also feeling like a cozy family home with the owner being extremely helpful during my visit.
